The latest generation of cabin filters
With an increased airflow capacity made up of premium fibre materials, Motaquip cabin filters can reduce impurities in vehicles by up to six times compared to a vehicle with an inactive filter.
Using the latest generation of cabin filtration medias, our filters prevent a wide array of particulates entering the cabin including contaminants from traffic, local industry, and seasonal weather such as pollen. Now considered, an essential safety feature, our cabin filters can protect passengers from tiredness, irritable eyes, and breathing difficulties and filter out impurities down to three μm.
Painstakingly engineered for a flawless fit for each application, our filters have been designed to ensure complete isolation and efficiency of every vehicle conditioning system.
Active Carbon
Motaquip active carbon filtration utilises a porous type of carbon similar in structure to graphite. Just one gram of this active carbon can have a surface area more than 900 m2 and it attracts harmful gases to its surface due to absorption. Because of these unique properties, its ability to filter gas pollutants is extremely high. Because of the presence of active carbon, ever-present gases such as nitrogen compounds, ozone, sulphur, and hydrocarbons are virtually eliminated during the filter service life.
Drivers who spend many hours each week in their cars will be particularly vulnerable to the effects of having an insufficient cabin filtration. Tiredness, hay fever, or breathing difficulties adversely affects the drivers’ response times and therefore pose a threat to road safety. This can be prevented by ensuring cabin filters are replaced routinely.

Tip
It only takes a few moments to inspect how much debris has been collected in a cabin filter. That so many of the impurities collected could have ended up in our lungs is the most appealing argument for regular replacement of this type of filter in your car.
